i love that you have this blog ... i LOVE keeping up with what you're doing.
my maternal grandmother had an exquisite needle work shop while i was growing up, and i spent a lot of time in there. she taught me a LOT.
probably the most important thing she taught me was to rip things out and re-do them to get them right. i love that you took the time to do that awhile back.
it's also how we learn.
my sewing machine is always out ... i use it often ... mostly for mending and patching and stuff like that.
someday i'll use it for fun things again. but i've never quilted before!
the other thing i want to learn is to knit or crochet ... or the difference btw the two ;)

My mom and sister taught me to knit and crochet (they are both really good at it...like my mom knitted sweaters and dresses for me and my sister knitted beautiful sweaters too), but I was never very good at it :)
